As the international media coverage of the Sudanese protests begins to die down, the spirit of the protesters is yet to waver as they take back to the streets in the remembrance of all those who were killed during the protests.

Amid a now long internet blackout, and deadly crackdowns that spurred a #BlueforSudan social media campaign which saw people change their social media display pictures to a solid blue hue in a bid to raise awareness to what is happening in Sudan. Large protesters have returned to the streets in the “millions march” demanding that Sudan’s Transition Military Council transfer the power to the civilians, as well as to remember those who lost their lives during the struggle.

At current, Sudan’s health ministry states that 181 people have been injured and 7 people have died since the protests.
