Gbenga Dada’s brand, being socially-conscious, brought together 17 celebrities and influencers from different walks of life to lend their voices to cerebral palsy, a congenital disorder of movement, muscle tone and posture. The lookbook features stars like Omawumi and Jodie, media personalities like Bolanle Olukanni and BellaNaija‘s Eki Ogunbor, fashion designers, consultants and many more – who all looked stunning rocking chic jewelry pieces handcrafted from semi-precious stones and non-tarnish findings. Each piece was created with the personalities of the wearers in mind. View some of the pieces below.
All pieces in this collection were created by disadvantaged young women from Makoko who are presently interning with Gbenga Artsmith. Towards the cause, 10% of the proceeds from the sale of pieces from the “NECKTAR” collection was designated to select Cerebral Palsy foundations.
