#YouTubeBlackVoices’ Creator Class of 2022 Features 26 African Content Creators

YouTube flagship Black Voices Fund initiative recently revealed the names of the African content creators who have been selected to join a global cohort of content creators.

For 2022, the cohort of 135 features 26 African YouTubers from nations such as Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa – all specifically selected for their dedicated effort to making a difference in their communities and the continent as a whole.

YouTubers such as Kanya’s Mandi Sarro and Justus Nandwa, South Africa’s Hungani Malcolm Ndlovu, Tshegofatso Isaac, Abigail Gugulethu and Nigeria’s Ndukwe Stephen Anthony, Olawale Adetula, and Halima Yusuf Rabiu will receive seed funding alongside dedicated support to help them develop their channels. They will also take part in bespoke and hands-on training, workshops, and networking programmes.
